Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) member schools can compete against schools in good standing with another NFHS-sanctioned state or NFHS affiliate association. Participating in sports on Sundays is not permitted. NIAA member schools are responsible for ensuring that any opponent they compete against is a member of another NFHS state or affiliate association. Violation of NAC 385B.308 -.310 will result in penalties for the school's team, sports program, and/or athletic department.
