Schools may only travel out of state one time per sport per interscholastic season to compete in contests in any location that is not contiguous to Ohio (Bylaw 9-2-1). In all contests competed outside Ohio, each participating school shall follow all Ohio eligibility standards, general and sport specific sports regulations, but may follow the playing rules as adopted by the host state Association (Bylaw 9-2-4).
