Schools must be member schools of their state association or approved for competition by their respective State Association. IHSA Travel By-law applies. Must have an IHSA Certified Coach meeting IHSA By-law 2.070 and teams must also follow IHSA By-law for contest limitations Boys: 5.141, 5.142 & 5.143 & Girls 5.311, 5.312 & 5.313.

NIAA-member schools are permitted to compete against (only) schools that are members in good standing with another NFHS sanctioned state or NFHS affiliate association. Participation on Sunday(s) is prohibited. ** It is the responsibility of a NIAA-member school to make sure any opponent is a member of another NFHS state / affiliate association. ** A violation of NAC 385B.308 - .310 will result in a penalty for the school’s team, sport program and/or athletic department.
